Account information

When you create or use a TeamKhata account, we may collect:

• Full name
• Email address
• Mobile number
• Profile photograph, where provided
• Account creation and login information

Google sign-in information

If you choose “Continue with Google”, TeamKhata may receive basic profile information permitted by Google, such as:

• Name
• Email address
• Google profile image

TeamKhata does not request access to your Gmail messages, Google Drive files, contacts, calendar, or other unrelated Google data.

Team information

Information entered while using TeamKhata may include:

• Team name
• Sport
• Team logo
• Starting team fund
• Match details
• Match collections
• Ground costs
• Additional collections
• Additional expenses
• Standalone income and expenses
• Notes related to financial records
• Team member/collaborator access and roles

Activity and technical information

We may process limited technical and usage information needed to operate, secure, diagnose, and improve TeamKhata, such as:

• Login activity
• Record creation and update timestamps
• Browser/device information
• Technical logs
• Error and security information

We use information to:

• Create and maintain user accounts
• Provide TeamKhata functionality
• Maintain team financial records
• Calculate team fund balances
• Enable authorized team collaboration
• Authenticate users and protect accounts
• Provide customer support
• Diagnose technical problems
• Maintain security and prevent misuse
• Improve TeamKhata
• Comply with applicable legal obligations

Team financial information is private by default.

Users can access a team only when they have been granted appropriate access.

Depending on their role, invited collaborators may be able to view or modify information within a team.

TeamKhata currently supports roles such as Owner, Admin, Editor, and Viewer.

Users are responsible for granting team access only to people they trust.

We do not sell users’ personal information.

Information may be processed by service providers that help TeamKhata operate, such as authentication, database, hosting, storage, security, and infrastructure providers.

We may also disclose information where reasonably necessary to:

• Comply with applicable law or lawful requests
• Protect the rights, security, and integrity of TeamKhata
• Prevent fraud, abuse, or security threats

TeamKhata currently uses third-party technology providers, which may include services such as:

• Supabase for authentication and backend infrastructure
• Google for optional Google sign-in
• Hosting and application infrastructure providers

These providers process information according to their own terms and privacy policies where applicable.

TeamKhata is a record-management tool.

TeamKhata does not currently act as a bank, payment service provider, wallet, escrow service, or financial institution.

TeamKhata does not currently hold users’ team funds or process payments between team members.

Financial amounts entered into TeamKhata are records provided by users.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect user information.

However, no online service or method of electronic storage can guarantee absolute security.

Users are responsible for keeping their account credentials secure and for controlling access granted to other team members.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide TeamKhata, maintain legitimate records, comply with applicable obligations, and resolve disputes.

Teams moved to “Recently Deleted” may be retained temporarily to allow recovery before permanent deletion.

Depending on the feature, users may be able to:

• Update their name
• Update their mobile number
• Update their profile photo
• Manage team access
• Remove collaborators
• Delete or restore eligible team records

TeamKhata may use cookies, local storage, authentication tokens, or similar technologies that are necessary for login, account security, session management, and application functionality.

TeamKhata is primarily intended for people managing sports teams and team finances.

If a user is not legally able to enter into agreements in their jurisdiction, TeamKhata should be used only with appropriate parent or guardian involvement.

We may update this Privacy Policy as TeamKhata evolves.

The updated version will be published on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
